So the workplace for this clerical actually sucks big monkey-poo. I truthfully believe myself and the other clerical assistants at the dorm are being seriously taken advantage of by those in higher standing. We work really hard, but then we're really stupid if we don't do something because they forgot to tell us to. Plus, if you can't do 4 things at once, forget it. Too much work, too much stress to sit and take for 6.20/hr, don't ya think? AND I don't even get to interact with people my age during the day like the other clericals do. I work with the daytimers who like to smoke and bring the stench back with them. And they wonder why i'm sneezing all day.

Anyway, I'm starting a new lifestyle, and it's starting to kinda kick me in the butt. I get up at 6 every other morning to go jog/walking. I want to look and feel better, and sometimes I think it just takes a big change like this to get started making myself better all round.

OH and someone made fun of my country bumpkiness today. i said "fixing to" and someone gratefully pointed it out and ran with it.....gee haha that's funny...like no one else in Texas says it......

Going to the library later to let Phil research for his governement paper....it's gonna be weird being at a library when you're not even at school...yeah that sounds really unintelligent, but when you're in college, avoiding the library is a very healthy thing. the joys of television and how it rots my mind :)

here's my #2 flavor--

so I went to my great-grandfather's services last week. Those were as depressing as all get out. Well, I came back to Austin Friday feeling a little run down. By the end of the night, I had a really high fever and the chills and couldn't stop shaking. Not the coolest. So I spent this weekend recuperating. How exciting is that? I DID find out though that I was accepted to the advertising department. I AM NOW AN OFFICIAL ADVERTISING MAJOR! YAY!!! Someone up there thinks it's funny to play around with my karma. I have REALLY bad or REALLY good things happening to me all at once. I don't know how the summer is going to go from here, but at least I'll be making some money for playing on the computer here at work looking like i'm doing something ;) Well, better go find something fo you guys to look at. I know it can get boring here sometimes, so i'll try and make things a little more interesting in the future. Here's Melissa's blog in the meantime :)
