Last night we went to swim in our apt. complex pool. We thought we were going to play a few innocent games of marco polo, or even dodge ball with my volleyball that I recently bought. Then these 2 guys asked us if we wanted to play an actual volleyball game. They set up this whole jerry rigged thing to support the net in the shallow end so most of us could touch the floor. Then they started talking....these were two white kids talking some sort of combination of ghetto and Alabama backwoods. There was a curse word at the end of every sentence, most of the time "shit," and one of them liked to throw in what he thought were clever catch phrases.
"You're gonna be like Sandra Bullock, caught in the net, and shit."
Then these other people came to the pool while we were playing with these colorful 2, and we were scared that they were going to think that they were with us! They joined our volleyball game and made it a little harder to bear being with those kids cause they started trying to impress EVERYBODY!
Well, aside from all the oh-so witty remarks, it wasn't too bad of a time and we now have more opportunities for creative away messages. Maybe next time there will be a light in the pool or even an alligator from Louisiana. You just never know what's going to pop up in the Sterling pool.

Yeay! I'm all moved into my new apartment, Sterling University Canyon. Ok, so now what?
I've moved all my junk, brought all the food from the other apartment over here, ate a little of it....so yup.
I bought a shelf to put all my books on. Walmart didn't have the TV stand I saw at the Walmart at home, they were all out. So I bought cleaning supplies that I've never used in my life. I'm really not ready for school to start, I haven't had a class all summer, except the informal ones which were, duh, really informal. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself these few days I have left before school starts. I've been looking for a job, but the outlook is pretty grim. I'm going to start back up with kickboxing on the 27th; can't wait. Maybe I'll work on that tan I've been meaning to have all summer. Or maybe I could go somewhere and draw something. It's all up in the air, but I'd like to be here when the cable guy comes in so I can tell them I want cable in my room too. Alrighty, I'm hitting the hay. So you on da flip side!
