Things on the Incline?

Well several seemingly good things have been happening the last couple of days.

First off, I have a new job. I am technically a web communications intern at a place called iMediaplus. I'll actually be working for its offshoot company called Drop and Sell and what I'll be doing is taking people's stuff, taking pictures of it and putting it on e-bay. So I'll be using my writing and Photoshop skills after all. AND I'm getting paid $10/hr. Not too shabby.

Also, I went to a Verizon kiosk with the intention of getting a smaller plan to pay less, but I ended up getting a $5 more expensive plan, and getting a $400 phone....for FREE! The deal was that I was up for a contract renewal, which means a free new phone up to $100. So I had a $100 credit for a phone. The phone he showed me was on sale for $150, from $400. THEN the phone has a $50 mail-in-rebate. So that means, I paid about $4 in taxes for a $400 phone. Hooyah!
It's really awesome too, camera and everything.

Today I didn't wake up until 4 pm after going to bed at 5 am. There's a long story behind that one, so I may wait til Tuesday to post it. So I spent today trying to clean up my apartment and do some laundry. Now I'm going to go finish the laundry, take a bath, have some wine, then try to force myself to sleep. We'll see.
