Sadly Fit to Fight is almost over. But I feel its effects starting to come around. Larry finally let me spar today, not the beat stuff. Yeah, I still have a lot to work on, but it was such a rush to hit someone and get hit back and it was all just...cool. I graduate a week from Tuesday, which makes me nervous, but that means I won't have to do anymore 10 minute rounds. Woo-hoo!
My internship is going great, but I keep sacrificing paying hours at my other job to make sure I get stuff done and get to the internship on time. I'm still learning a lot, and Larry goes really fast, but I always make sure I know what the heck is going on. I definitely need to get more sleep more often. I keep going in on very little sleep and I end up being kind of worthless and not being able to pay attention like I would like. Hope Larry doesn't think it's going to be a recurring thing. Meh. It'll be ok, I'm really enjoying this stuff. No worries.
I'm going to Dallas this weekend to watch some friends fight in kickboxing matches. I'm really excited, I've never seen a live match, much less seeing people I train with fight. It's going to be awesome. Maybe one day I'll be in their position. Only time will tell.
I turned in my Adveritising creative sequence application today. It did not turn out like I wanted it to. Things just did not come together, even though I thought my idea was good. I just don't know what they're looking for, but I tried my best and what happens, happens. I'll be disappointed, but I guess I'll understand. Maybe it's not my thing, who knows.
I finished ALL the paperwork for Costa Rica. Now all I have to do is get on the plane. Minus taking the fate deciding language test when I get there, all will be splendid! I don't think I've ever used the word splendid. heh. WeRd.
