Well, guess whose turn it is...


1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
a) I threw a party
b) I kissed a really good friend of mine
c) I cut all of my hair off
d) I went to Las Vegas
e) I competed in two martial arts weapon tournaments
f) I injured myself badly 3 times
g) I went to California
h) I tried to help these random drunk people and then ended up having to stop my friend from killing someone


2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No and Yes

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My instructor's wife Heidi

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yeah, a girl from martial arts died in a tragic car accident, my instructor's father died, and my best friend's best childhood friend died in, once again, a tragic car accident

5. What countries did you visit?
None. :(

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
HAhaha....sex. :/

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Stupid election. Reason obvious.
The night before my party when I really got to know Nikki.


8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Competing in 2 martial arts tournaments and being the only girl in one and one of two in the other. Yeeeah.
Oh, and graduating from UT. Yay me!
Saving Roberto from jail by not letting him kick someone's ass.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Letting my bank account get down to $15. Did I learn from it? Sources point to no.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
YEAH:
broken tip of thumb
some abnormal cells
chipped elbow
STUPID DAMN TORN ACL dammit

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My mini-pal knife. They don't feel it til they get up.


12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My friend Roberto. He was there for me during all my financial drama and emotional stress.
My instructor Larry, for having to keep a school running while experiencing so many different emotions all at once.
Me, for surviving.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Gimme a G! Gimme a dubyah!

14. Where did most of your money go?
UT, food, gas, and the rest: i don't know where it went so quickly, honestly...

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Las Vegas and California.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
"New York Kids" by Interpol

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? an itsy bit happier
ii. thinner or fatter? the damn same, stupid fluctuation

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Being young and carefree

I spent it with my family
We had a White Christmas in Southeast Texas!!!

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
I think so, but I'm not so sure...who knows what love is anymore... :(

23. How many one-night stands?
None: I'm such a good girl.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Inuyasha, by far.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Ssssslightly. Still have extremely large and deep feelings of anger towards one.

26. What was the best book you read?
The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Interpol

28. What did you want and get?
I wanted a boy. I got a brother (figuratively).

29. What did you want and not get?
See above. And I wanted an I-Pod, asked for it twice, to no avail.

30. What were your favorite films of this year?
Garden State

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 22. I had dinner with friends, had a party in Austin, and my uncle took me to Vegas.

32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting a real full time job in advertising.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Whatever fits with a side of unique. I try to wear one thing that makes me unique, whether people can see it or not. :D

34. What kept you sane?
My mother, Roberto's logic, and hitting stuff and people often

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Brandon Boyd, then Orlando Bloom, then Zach Braff

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The entire election ... WTF?

37. Who did you miss?
I will miss my grandma forever. I missed Taryn bunches. I missed Dung a little. I missed Nikki off and on. Everyone else, I usually tried to keep up with. Sometimes life gets in the way. Sorry.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Piero and David

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
a) Yin and yang do exist to their utmost extent.
b) I think somewhere in there, I learned that worrying makes things worse.
c) A college degree will get you in the door. But only a great portfolio gets you hired.
