Little Old Man on a Big Old Bike

I was driving into my complex this evening and saw a little old man walking around with his cane. I saw a little kitty run behind him. Then as I was turning the corner, I saw a parked speed bike without an occupant and running. At first I thought, well what if someone were to take off with it and its owner wasn't around. Then I supposed well, I guess they would have to know how to drive it. Then I thought how funny it would be if that little old man with his cane took off on some young rascal's speed bike. Kitty in tow.

Week's going ok. Lots of Christmas parties going on this weekend. I'm invited to three already. We'll see how many I make. Some EXCITING news came my way very early this morning. I went to my first PT session and my PT said, or rather ordered me to get rid of my straight leg brace so I could start walking around. He said I was already behind on ironing out the scar tissue so I had better get on it. That means PT 3 times a week. It's a love hate relationship, I can already tell. He gave me a rubdown on my leg that I could have punched him in the nose for. But after just 5-10 minutes of that stuff, my muscular motion increased by over 10 degrees. I was pretty amazed. He says we'll have a speedy recovery since I'm so motivated. I think it's cause he knows what he's doing.

You know, I didn't even think about Christmas cards or Christmas shopping until yesterday when I decided to help out with the charity thing we're doing at work. I bought this little girl with Safe Place some jeans and a CD. Then I was like...crap! I haven't bought a damn thing for my friends or family! SO I guess I better get on it. 10 days! Have a good rest of the week.
